<center><b>--- Initial Setup ---</b></center><ol><li>Mount the adjustment target in the patient holder.</li><li>Rotate the microscope arm to the center position.</li><li>Rotate the slit lamp arm 45° to the right.</li><li>Focus the projected pattern on the slanted portion of the target.</li><li>Check that the area of maximum focus (indicated by the red circle) is approximately in the center of the screen.</li><li>Tighten the cross slide locking screw.</li></ol>

Mount the adjustment target in the patient holder.

Tighten the cross slide locking screw

Initial Setup

Adjustment eyepieces

Look through the left eyepiece while closing the right eye.

Adjust the eyepiece correction until the checkerboard pattern is sharpest between the two lines.

Repeat the steps above for the right eyepiece
